Reverse Engineering Supernovae

Recent radio-through-X-ray observations are revolutionizing
our understanding of the progenitor systems and explosion mechanisms
core-collapse supernovae. I will highlight key topics where theory
needs to "catch up" with these observations, and explain how the only
way to truly grasp the complexities of the core-collapse process is
through end-to-end investigations of the entire supernova life cycle
-- from progenitor star, to explosion, to remnant. These issues are of
crucial importance for the next generation of three-dimensional
core-collapse simulations seeking to robustly model and interpret the
gravitational wave, neutrino, and EM signatures of supernovae.
We plan to broadcast these talks using TeamSpeak. Use a sub-channel of
