This talk address, in detail, the technical challenges in turning the Hyperloop concept into a reality.  This includes engineering challenges in the realms of mechanical, civil, aerodynamic, thermodynamic, electromagnetic, power & power electronics, dynamics & controls, and more.  It address the challenges of developing new technologies in today's engineering environment and lessons learned from the fast-paced & hardware focused development at SpaceX.  This talk will also address the vision of Hyperloop and the potential changes and opportunities that become available with Hyper-fast, safe, low cost, reliable, non-polluting and energy elegant transportation.
