Memorial for George W. Housner

Caltech's civil engineering department is hosting a memorial to celebrate the life of George W. Housner, who died November 10, 2008, at the age of 97. Often considered the father of earthquake engineering, Housner, was Braun Professor of Engineering, Emeritus, at Caltech.
