Join us in welcoming Michelle Enfield, a transgender activist and an HIV prevention specialist at the Red Circle Project. Michelle will be discussing her own experiences growing up on a Navaho reservation in Fort Defiance, Arizona as a member of the LGBTQ community, along with the challenges she faced transitioning, and the support she found from her family and the Navaho community. Come and learn about the history of the two-spirited person, as Michelle details the spiritual and practical roles that LGBTQ individuals have in different Native American cultures. Lunch provided. RSVP is strongly encouraged but not required for this event: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/HN798F2
