MIXED MATCH: A Film by Jeff Chiba Stearns

Please join us for the screening of this impactful documentary. This film explores the role race plays in medicine. With the multiracial community becoming one of the fastest growing demographics in North America, being mixed race is no longer just about identity, it can be a matter of life and death. There will be a Q & A panel after the film with two of the patients in the movie, and a representative from the organization Mixed Marrow. Schedule permitting, two City of Hope Hematology Physicians, who are also in the film will be in attendance.

All students, post-docs, staff & faculty are welcome! Please rsvp by July 6th (Limited seating.) Screening will be offered to the Pasadena community after July 6th. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
