The outstanding Irish singer Moya Brennan was a founding member of Ireland's supergroup, Clannad, with shom she has recorded 18 albums (including a Grammy in 1998), and with the recent release of "Voices and Harps," she has now released eight albums of her own, independent from her famous family band.

She is joined on this record and for this Caltech show by Cormac De Barra, the internationally known harper who has a reputation for pushing the boundaries of the Irish harp. Together on stage, they both play harps and sing, offering a mesmerizing collection of mostly traditional songs and peices. Moys's voice has a warm, rich intimacy. U2's Bono recently commented, "I think she has one of the greatest voices the human ear has ever experienced."
