MUSE/IQUE - Cosmic/Collaboration
- Public Event
This is Part One of MUSE/IQUE's Planet Bernstein: A Party in Three Parts celebrating the creative gravity of Leonard Bernstein. The series continues on August 8 with Jazz/Genesis and on concludes on August 29 with In/Side Story.
Iconic. Outspoken. Legendary.
Leonard Bernstein was an inspirational force of nature who changed the way we love music.
In our opening event, we rediscover the interstellar, interdiscplinary rock star of classical collaboration.
It's a rocket ride propelled by genius as Rachael Worby and our orchestra explore Bernstein's cosmic influence on creative collaborators like Aaron Copland, John Williams, Jerome Robbins and even John Lennon!
As the music comes together in a new world of creativity, we ask the provocative question: Is Leonard Bernstein America's Beethoven?
Or is Lenny even more revolutionary?
Finding out will be the most fun musical voyage we can imagine.
