Coleman is delighted to welcome to the series perhaps today's foremost exponent of baroque chamber music, Musica Antiqua Köln. Founded in 1973 by Reinhard Goebel and fellow students from the Cologne Conservatory, the ensemble signed an exclusive recording contract with Deutsche Grammophon's Archiv Produktion in 1978. The resulting wide discography and international performances have achieved "the highest standards of scholarship and diabolically exciting playing." (San Francisco Examiner) For the Pergolesi and Vivaldi works on this performance Musica Antiqua Köln will be joined by soprano Nancy Argenta and contralto Nathalie Stutzmann.

- Pergolesi: Salve Regina in F minor for alto, strings, and basso continuo *
- Albinoni: Sinfonia in C Major *
- Albinoni: Sinfonia in G minor for strings, two oboe colla parte, and basso continuo
- Vivaldi: "In forore giustissimjae irae," motette for soprano, strings, and basso continuo *
- Pergolesi: Stabat Mater for soprano, alto, strings, and basso continuo *
