Native American Heritage Month 2022 STEMinar with Alex "Panda" Armendariz

The Caltech Center for Inclusion and Diversity (CCID) invites Alex "Panda" Armendariz for Native American Heritage Month as a STEMinar speaker. He is a Mescalero Apache scholar and professional with the STEAM connection. https://www.steamconnection.org/

Panda currently serves as the Interim Coordinator for the Native American Student Center and a graduate student in the M.S. Regenerative Studies program through the Lyle Center at Cal Poly Pomona. His research is focused on Indigenous Communities, Indigenous Food Systems, and Indigenous Sovereignty. Panda currently has been working with the Pauma Band of Luiseño Indians and Pauma Tribal Farms.
