"The New Galileos" - A Play by Amy Berryman
Hameetman Center 206 - Frautschi Rehearsal Hall
- Public Event
Three female climatologists find themselves detained by government bureaucrats. The scientists are given an option to disavow their research in exchange for millions of dollars. Or to disappear. In an Orwellian nightmare, they discover just how much they can trust each other as they consider the price of their recantation. The New Galileos frightens with a chilling forecast of future science.
The New Galileos, directed here by Brian Brophy, was a semi-finalist submission for this year's MACH 33 Festival of New Science-Driven Plays. The play features Heather Curtis, Ezgi Kunttas-Tatli, Alison Koontz, and Kat Rinaldi.
The performance is free, with no tickets or reservations required. A reception will follow.
