Omer Tamuz,
Departments of Economics & Mathematics,
California Institute of Technology,
I will define the Gromov-Hausdorff topology on rooted graphs, explain a result (joint with Joshua Frisch) on its restriction to the transitive graphs, and discuss an Economics question about social networks (joint with Elchanan Mossel and Allan Sly) where this topology makes a surprise appearance.
