A metric in the space of spectral triples
Gunther Cornelissen, Mathematics, University of Utrecht,

This is an informal talk about work in progress with Bram
Mesland, in which we construct a metric in the space of spectral triples
("noncommutative Riemannian manifolds") up to Morita equivalence, just
like Gromov-Hausdorff distance is the space of metric (Riemannian) spaces.
Our definition is based on a notion of "length of a correspondence" for
which we use the gap metric between suitably gauged Dirac operators.
