Orchestra Auditions

The Occidental-Caltech Symphony is a seventy-piece college-community orchestra, comprised of students from Occidental College, Caltech, and players from their surrounding communities. We present four concerts during the year and feature an annual Student Concerto Competition, open to students at Oxy and Caltech.

Rehearsals are held once weekly, on Tuesday evenings. We have a very motivated group and work efficiently, to get maximum results from our rehearsals. Sectional rehearsals are led by members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Los Angeles Opera Orchestra.
