Chemoenzymatic Labeling of Cell-surface Glycans: Methods and Applications
Metabolic oligosaccharide engineering and chemoenzymatic glycan labeling have provided powerful tools to study glycans in living organisms and tissue samples. In this talk, I will discuss our recent progress towards the development of methods for cell-surface chemoenzymatic glycan labeling. The applications include analyzing changes of glycosylation patterns during disease progression and boosting the activities of cells in the immune system.
