"Testing the Limits of Galactic Foreground Models for 21-cm Cosmology"
- Internal Event
To start us off we have a visitor, Joshua Hibbard, a 4th-year graduate student working under Jack Burns at CU Boulder. His research has primarily involved simulations of global signal experiments and signal extractions, both for the lunar surface and for the EDGES observatory. In addition, he has conducted some research using the 21-cm line to characterize and constrain models of dark matter, especially in the presence of large degeneracies with high-redshift galaxy models.
