Robin and Linda Williams

The Pasadena Folk Music Society finally managed to arrange to have Robin and Linda Williams make their way out from the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia to California! They will be bringing their vast treasure chest of tremendous original material, songs by contemporary artists and time honored numbers from the Appalachian and blues traditions. They combine their guitars and banjo with wonderful harmonies and solo vocals, and we always know they'll have a great show for us.

If you haven't heard one of their shows before, you may be familiar with their music from the long running Prairie Home Companion radio show, Robert Altman's last film, Prairie Home Companion (the movie), or the Hopeful Gospel Choir along with Garrison Keillor and Kate MacKenzie. They have put out some very fine albums over the years, and we are very pleased to be welcoming them back to Pasadena.
