Semana Latina 2013: Keynote Address by Dr. Abel Valenzuela

Keynote speaker Dr. Abel Valenzuela, Chair & Professor of Chicana/o Studies and Urban Planning at UCLA, will explore the different ways in which girls and boys facilitate the establishment of permanent settlement among Latino immigrant household, the complexity about the larger debate over immigration and the lives of newest and youngest newcomers.
