Standard/Latin Ballroom Dance Workshop

The first hour will focus on the posture and connection needed for International Standard. We'll work on proper posture and standing position, engaging the core, and establishing a stable frame that allows leading and following. The second hour will be a workshop on grounding in the context of the Latin dances. We'll work on tracking the feet and using the force of our feet against the floor to provide a stable base that allows the precision and sharpness of good Latin dance.
