STEMinar: Oarteze Hunter
Join us for a STEMinar with Oarteze Hunter on Thursday, November 14th, from 12 PM to 1 PM at the CCID, or the CSS 2nd Floor Common Area!
Oarteze Hunter, a postdoctoral fellow at UCLA, will share insights on "What I Learned in Grad School About Science and Society." He completed his PhD at UC Santa Cruz in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology, focusing on RNA splicing and its inhibition in yeast. Oarteze, a native of South Central Los Angeles, is passionate about molecular mechanisms, dancing, and skateboarding.
