Syncopaths

The Syncopaths have been one of Southern California's most popular Contra Dance bands since their beginning in 2003. They've taken their music throughout California and much of the country. In 2009, they added extraordinary mandolinist Ashley Broder, who performed here at Caltech with Jamie Laval in 2006. Other members are Ryan McKasson (fiddle), Christa Burch (vocals, bodhran), and Jeffrey Spero (keyboard). They are known for their high energy music and imaginative arrangements.
