Teaching Statement Workshop - Fall 2019

What is a Teaching Statement (also known as a Statement of Teaching Philosophy)? What role does it play in the academic job search? How can you write your own effective Teaching Statement?

In this interactive session, we will address those questions through up-to-date information, case studies, and exercises that will help you draft or refine your own Teaching Statement.

This workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Jenn Weaver, Associate Director for University Teaching of the Caltech Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach. It is open to all members of the Caltech community.
