TechLit Meeting & Discussion

TechLit will be having a special meeting on August 6th, on Zoom, from 6:30-8pm. Club member Richard Doyle will report on his visit to the Choctaw Nation historical capital, museum, and cultural center, as part of research for his novel. We will then have a discussion about Writing the Other - the challenges and value of writing characters outside of one's own lived experience. In addition to normal submissions for critique, we will also accept submissions for articles on this subject, which will be distributed to the attendees as suggested reading before the meeting.
