The AIDS Memorial Quilt on Display

In recognition of World AIDS Day, eight sections of the AIDS Memorial Quilt will be on display in the south side of Brown Gym. The quilt is a collection of panels sewn by family members and friends of individuals who have died of AIDS. The project began in San Francisco in 1987 and has grown to more then 45,000 panels. The quilt is an irreplaceable, handcrafted memorial, and care should be taken when viewing it. The display will continue until 2 p.m. on December 3.
