The International von Kármán Wings Award Banquet
The 2009 recipients of the International von Kármán Wings Award are Abdul Kalam, the 11th president of India, and Yannick d'Escatha, chairman and CEO of the Centre National d'Études Spatiales. Speakers at the banquet will include G. Madhavan Nair, chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization, , Alain Tournyol du Clos, nuclear counselor, French Embassy Beijing, and Caltech President Jean-Lou Chameau.
