Witness a collaboration that honors the sacred musical traditions of Judaism, Sufism (Islamic mystical tradition) and the Christian Armenian Church. Composer and world-music record producer Yuval Ron discusses the ancient and deep inter-cultural connection between the three traditions and the musical influences they share. The concert features songs of Sufi origin, Jewish prayers from Morocco and Yemen, Armenian Church chants and live dance. The three dancers demonstrate three different styles of movement expression with origins in the Middle East. The ensemble brings together musicians from Israel, Lebanon, Armenia, France and the United States, and features the Armenian master musician Norik Manoukian on woodwinds.

The group will also perform in a special one-hour school performance at 10:00 a.m.
