Theater Arts Caltech: A Hollow in the Hills
- Public Event
Theater Arts Caltech presents A Hollow in the Hills January 18-20 in Ramo Auditorium at Caltech.
A Hollow in the Hills is a collection of haunting one-act plays written by Penelope Chan, based on the short stories of Nathaniel Hawthorne. The pieces blend allegory and magical realism to create a dreamscape world where the audience is immersed in sound and emotion, while an ensemble of multi-talented actors, directed by Barbie Insua and Josh Zeller, weaves tales of guilt, redemption, despair, and hope through movement, voice, and live sound-effects. Don't miss the debut performances of two of Caltech's international freshmen (Ali Cataltepe and Olivine Silier).
Performances are January 18th at 9:00 p.m., January 19th at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and January 20th at 2:30 p.m., in Ramo Auditorium.
Theater Arts Caltech is under the guidance of Director Brian Brophy.
