TACIT s upcoming production: Vaclav Havel's The Memorandum is an absurdist drama set in an office of a Communist government in an Eastern European country. When a new language (ptydepe) is introduced to streamline all communication, love, intrigue, surveillance, ambition and untold mayhem ensues. Auditions are open to all undergrad and graduate students, staff, faculty and Caltech community regardless of previous experience. Also light, sound, scenic and costume designers, including production posts such as board operators and stage managers positions available. Be prepared for cold reading and scenes with improvised interaction with other actors. Dress simply with loose clothing to move around in. No high heels.
