Transgender Day of Remembrance

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR) is observed all across the world on November 20th to memorialize those who we have lost as a result of transphobia. Join the Caltech Center for Diversity and PRISM for an outdoor reception Hosted by the West Hollywood Transgender Advisory Board at the West Hollywood Library to observe TDoR on Sunday, Nov. 20th. The event will include speakers from the community, city representatives, community transgender performers, and will conclude with the reading of the names of transgender people who have passed due to transgender hate crimes.  Refreshments will be available.
 
The Caltech group will be meeting the Center for Student Services at 12:30 PM and will arrive at the event location at approximately 1:30 PM. We anticipate returning to Caltech at approximately 4:30 PM.
