United Way HomeWalk

Homelessness is the most extreme form of poverty. The number one reason for homelessness is loss of a job and with L.A. County experiencing double-digit unemployment rates; we are also the homeless capital of the nation.

The United Way of Greater Los Angeles each year organizes the HomeWalk annual walk to end homelessness. Each year, thousands join together to do their part. All money raised through HomeWalk is distributed back into the community to help quickly rehouse homeless families and provide permanent housing to the chronically homeless.

The fifth annual 5K walk to end homelessness will be on November 19 at Exposition Park, 700 Exposition Park Bvvd.
