V-Day 2005: The Vagina Monologues
Beckman Auditorium
- Public Event
A diverse cast of students, staff, postdoctoral scholars, faculty, and alumnae will give life to Eve Ensler's poignant, funny, and very moving monologues. Organizer Rachel Niemer explains, "This is an opportunity for the Caltech communitywomen and mento come together and take a stand against violence in all forms."
V-Day, a global movement to stop violence against women and girls, promotes creative events to increase awareness, raise funds, and revitalize the spirit of existing anti-violence organizations. Proceeds from Caltech's V-Day 2005 event will benefit the Los Angeles Commission on Assaults Against Women.
