Women's History Month Event
LOS ANGELES — On Saturday, March 3rd, the women of AF3IRM Los Angeles will bring people together in the streets of downtown LA in honor of International Women's Day/International Working Women's Day. Now in its fourth consecutive year, the march continues to be led by women-identified feminists of color and to make visible the needs and issues of women, especially women of color. This year the march is presented under the banner of "UPRISING: Forward to a Feminist Future," as organizers put forth their visions for a future built from radical imaginations where we are free of violence against women, free of oppression from the state and other institutions, and simply free to thrive.
