For many years, Caltech alum, Dr. Adrian Hightower (BS '95, PhD '01) applied his passion for renewable energy by leading student trips to Africa to install solar panels. In addition to overseeing all water-related education outreach programs, events and curriculum at the Metropolitan District of Southern California, he conducts international research and facilitates entrepreneurial activities addressing Sustainability, Renewable Energy and the Water-Energy Nexus.
