Ginsburg Center Caltech Community Meeting
In 2024, construction will begin on the Ginsburg Center for Quantum Precision Measurement, located between Linde Hall and Downs-Lauritsen on California Blvd.
The new building will bring together researchers across disciplines to study quantum information, precision measurement, and the detection of gravitational waves. Featuring state-of-the-art equipment and open, interactive spaces, the building will also house an extensive basement with the new Kip Thorne Laboratories.
Join this meeting for all members of the Caltech community to learn about the building project from the architects, builders, and Caltech Facilities team. What will the building look like? How long will construction take, and what disruptions can you expect? What improvements will be made to campus as part of this project? The meeting will include time for answers to any questions you may have.
Thursday, September 28, 9 a.m.–10 a.m., Cahill Center Hameetman Auditorium and online
