Demotlition of Mead Building Begins November 1
In support of the Resnick Sustainability Center building project, demolition of the Mead building will take place Monday, November 1 through Wednesday, November 17, during the hours of 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
During this time, there will be periodic levels of disruptions including noise, vibrations, and dusts throughout the course of the demolition activity. The service drive will continue to remain open and accessible throughout this activity and the project team has already prepared in securing and protecting the air intakes adjacent to the project sites to minimize impacts pertained to dust and odor for the adjacent building occupants throughout the course this activity.

Utility or service being interrupted: Periodic noise, vibration and dust from the demolition activity of the Mead Building
Below is a breakdown of the scheduled tasks for the Mead Demolition Phase:
Week 1 (11/1 – 11/5) –Remove and haul away each side of the CMU walls of the Mead building
Week 2 (11/5 – 11/12)—Remove, jackhammer, and hauling concrete footings and foundations of the Mead building.(most disruptive activity in terms of noise and vibrations of the demolition phase)
Week 3 (11/15 – 11/24)—Remove of mechanical equipment on Noyes Roof and Ductwork/Utilities inside Noyes utility shaft that fed the Mead building.
