Black History Month Series
The City of Pasadena Black History Month Parade & Festival is one of the biggest and longest-running Black history parades in California. The Black History Parades highlights African history, African-American culture, and are the only ones where you'll see low rider car clubs, Buffalo Soldiers, Tommy the Clown, Black fraternities and sororities, and Masons marching in unity, celebrating Black history and culture. Join the Caltech Center for Diversity as we support this historic event right here in Pasadena! Car-pools can meet at CSS, 414. S Holliston Ave. Pasadena, CA. We will be driving to the parade beginning at Charles White Park in Altadena (77 Mountain View St. Altadena, CA 91001) and continuing at 12pm at Jackie Robinson Park (1020 N Fair Oaks Ave. Pasadena, CA 91103) in Pasadena as the Festival begins! Please RSVP.
