Brown Gym is the home of the intercollegiate fencing and club sports teams and features a basketball/volleyball court, a bouldering cave, and more.
The gym sits on land that used to be part of Tournament Park, the original location of the annual Rose Bowl Game, the first of which was played in 1902.
Construction of the facility was made possible by funds provided by a trust established by Scott Brown, a former member and director of the Caltech Associates.
