Dabney Hall houses Humanities and Social Sciences offices and classrooms, as well as Dabney Lounge, the Humanities Library, and the Treasure Room.
One of the oldest buildings on campus, Dabney Hall was originally the gift of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. Dabney. A major renovation completed in 2004 was made possible by gifts from alumnus Captain Tyler Matthew, alumnus Roger Davisson and his wife, Marjorie, and alumnus William F. Horton and his wife, Glenna Berry-Horton; a distribution from the estate of alumnus George F. Smith; and a collective gift by the Caltech Associates.
