Ricketts is one of eight student Houses.
The reliefs carved atop the double columns in the western hallway represent a well-rounded undergraduate experience, featuring scenes from academia and depictions of leisure activities.
The building is part of the undergraduate housing complex that was built in 1931 and renovated in 2007 with the support of many donors, including alumni Alexander Lidow, Richard Beatty, and Ray Sidney. Ricketts House was originally the gift of Dr. and Mrs. Louis D. Ricketts.
